What class should i take?
We offer two categories of class: GROUP MAT AND GROUP EQUIPMENT
GROUP MAT CLASSES
ALL LEVELS Pilates Mat & Mat Fit for Function
Utilize Pilates props, TRX, free weights and more to increase core strength, balance, cardio capacity, mobility and body awareness. This fusion class combines the Pilates repertoire and principles (Breathing, Concentration, Centering, Control, Precision, and Flow) with Functional Movement Patterns (Squat, Lunge, Push, Pull, Hinge, Rotate and Locomote). Gentle and challenging, playful and focused.
GROUP EQUIPMENT CLASSES
LEVEL 1 Pilates Equipment
This class is designed for those new to Pilates, for those who want to focus on basics, and for those who need to go a bit slower for any reason, like injury or other physical limitations.
We’ll focus on strengthening the Powerhouse of the body and simple, healthy movement patterns.
Instructors will help students with Building Blocks and/or Modifications to exercises as needed.
The work will be performed on both mat and equipment, at the instructor’s discretion, to create the optimum experience for each small group class.
LEVEL 2 Pilates Equipment
Experience Required. This class is for those familiar with the Pilates repertoire, Principles, concepts, and terminology. Increased movement complexity requires strength, stretch, stability and stamina.
Students should be capable of modifying exercises on their own, if needed.
Utilizes the mat, reformer, chair, tower or jump board at your instructors’ discretion, to create the optimum experience for each small group class.
LEVEL 3 Pilates Equipment & Equipment Circuit
Experience Required. This class is for strong, healthy bodies who are deep in the Pilates work. Requires strength, stretch, stability and stamina. Classes move at a dynamic pace. Complex movements require concentration, control, balance and coordination.
Not recommended for those who need to modify exercises.
Utilizes the mat, reformer, chair, tower or jump board at your instructors’ discretion, to create the optimum experience for each small group class.
HOW DO I BUY A PACKAGE?
After you select your desired class in Schedulicty, you will see a page with package options. Choose from drop-in, packs of 5, 10 or 20 classes. These are good for one year.
which package should i buy?
Buy the GROUP CLASS PACKAGE if you have signed up for Mat Classes – these are in YELLOW in Schedulicity.
Buy the EQUIPMENT CLASS PACKAGE if you sign up for Equipment Levels 1, 2 or 3. These are in TEAL, PURPLE and RED in Schedulicity.
Buy one of each if you are attending both types of class.
how do i start?
New to Pilates? We offer an introductory session at no charge to help familiarize you with Pilates terminology and equipment so that you may join group classes with confidence. Just choose “Free Introductory Session” from the Services menu in Schedulicity.
For clients new to Pilates and The Movement Center only.

STUDIO POLICIES
Booking Policies
- Please book in advance with Schedulicity.
- New clients must enter a credit card number to guarantee registration.
- Any class with only one registrant will be canceled the night before class. Please check your email before coming to class.
Cancelations
- Please cancel 18 hours in advance if you cannot attend class.
- Please cancel 24 hours in advance if you cannot attend your private.
- No-shows and late cancels will be charged.
Packages AND Private Sessions
- Packages for privates and group classes are good for one year from date of purchase.
- Packages may be shared within a family.
